CONSUMER PRODUCT REVIEWS

It may seem kind of trivial, but there are few things that you can do for yourself that will prove more helpful throughout the course of your whole life than getting into the habit of making responsible purchases. Yes, we all do go for that occasional impulse buy, but really, it makes so much more sense to decide what we need and then research it thoroughly. Then and only then should we get it. This is why I have always sworn by consumer reports, from the time I bought my first car at the age of 18, through all major purchases and up through today. Consumer reports reviews everything. The consumer reports car reviews are probably their most famous because, with the possible exception of blue book, it is the most consulted source on car values and recommendations. But there are many other useful reviews in consumer reports. For example, I would not have begun to have any idea what washer to buy without consumer reports washer reviews. It went through all of the most popular brands one at a time and ranked each model in terms of capacity, effectiveness, longevity, and overall value. Then, for the top brands, there was a paragraph each detailing the different advantages and disadvantages of each purchase. Without that review, how could I have possibly known which washer to buy. It's not like I've had the chance to try all of them out. Although you can take it out from the library, I have found my consumer reports magazine subscription to be a tremendously helpful investment. Each month, there are different classes of consumer goods reviewed, and more often than not, they happen to be just what I need to look at. Why just last month, as we were contemplating buying a new television, the consumer reports lcd tv edition came out, detailing the differences between all of the different television monitors. It really has proven an invaluable resource, and I have yet to make a purchase where consumer reports have been proven wrong in its advice. Of course, there are some things that consumer reports can't help you with, and with these, you have to exercise your own discretion, but it will still have gotten you in the habit of making responsible purchases. When I buy food, for example, I never go without eating first, because I know I won't make the right shopping decisions when I am shopping hungry.
